This policy explains how PaperTrace handles personal data for the app and papertrace.no, under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

The PaperTrace app
The app has no accounts and does not send your pictures to us. Templates, imported photos, and history stay on the device. The camera is used only if you take a photo to trace. We do not collect analytics from the app.
The website
papertrace.no is a static marketing site. We do not use cookies for analytics or ads. The host (Vercel) may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamp) for operations and security.
If you write to us, we keep your name, email address, and the message so we can reply. We delete the request when it is done, within 12 months at the latest, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, and restriction, and you can complain to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority). Questions: post@papertrace.no.
